PPL Students
The second group from the University of Leeds are now into week two of their PPL training. Despite the weather not always being on side, we are still seeing their hard work pay off with first solos being completed.
We also had 40 sixth form students visit the airfield to find out about pilot training and a little bit about the history of the airfield. It was probably one of the busiest days of the summer so far, but it was fantastic to see past and present students of AFT volunteering their time and knowledge to potential future pilots.
