The Course:

• 5 hours dual training on Instrument Flying in an aeroplane FNPT2 or Flight Simulator.

• 35 hours of theoretical training.

• Pass a Skill Test with an FIE(A).

The pre entry requirements are:

That the candidate holds a valid Instrument Flying qualification with at least 200 hours IFR experience of which 50 hours may be gained in a Simulator or FNPT2. The FI (A) rating must be valid with the Supervisory Restriction removed.
